Barnabas ‘Barney’ Green is the Director of the RCSEd Regional Surgical Ambassador's Network. He is a consultant vascular surgeon at South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Middlesbrough. Barney has a significant interest in medical education and social movement in healthcare. He is heavily involved in the RCSEd and has convened several hugely successful events that address violence in our communities. He been active in the RCSEd #letsremoveit anti-bullying campaign and has recently launched Moon and Back to raise awareness of mental health in healthcare workers. Barney was the Quality Lead for Postgraduate Medical Education until 2019 at South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and is currently the Cardiovascular Collaborative Patient Safety Ambassador in the trust.
